就是將句子中的謂語動詞全部置於主語之前。全部倒裝通常用於：

②謂語動詞通常是be, come, go, lie, run等表示來去或狀態的動詞。
就是指將謂語的一部分如助動詞、情態動動詞或be移到主語前。如果句子的謂語中沒有這類詞，則在主語前加助動詞do, does或did，謂語動詞用原形。部分倒裝用於：
(1)否定或半否定的詞語，如no, not, never, seldom, little, hardly, at no time, in no way, not until…等位於句首時。

hardly had she gone out when a student came to visit her. 她剛出門，就有個學生來訪。

注意：①hardly…when…, no sooner…than…或not only… also…中，都是前一句倒裝，後句不倒;②not until…後接時間狀語從句時，從句不倒，主句倒。

注意：當so引出的句子是對上文內容加以證實或肯定時，不可用倒裝結構。意為“的確如此”。如：
tom asked me to go to play football and so i did. 湯姆邀我去踢球，我去了。

注意：如果句子為主從複合句，則主句倒裝，從句不倒裝。
必須將表語或狀語提前(形容詞, 副詞, 分詞, 實義動詞提前)。但需注意：
②句首是實義動詞, 其他助動詞放在主語後。如果實義動詞有賓語和狀語，隨實義動詞一起放在主語之前。

③在虛擬條件句中有were, had, should等詞時，可將if 省略，把were, had, should移到主語之前。
