despite i’ve not in my childhood yet, i still prefer reading fairy-talestories. the tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me thinkof some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. thissummer i’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. it’s theworld-famous fairy-tale by the french author, antoine de st-exupery, the littleprince.

as many other fairy-talethe outline of the little prince is not verycomplex. “i”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has somethingwrong and lands in the sahara. in this occasion, the pilot makes theacquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, theasteroid b612. the little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because hehas some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. in that case he lefthis own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

on his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds ofpeople, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, alamplighter and a geographer. from these people he gets a conclusion that thegrown-ups are very odd. following the instruction of the geographer, he descendsin the sahara, on the earth.

traveling onthe earth, the little prince, who sees a garden offive-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considershis rose is unique in the universe before. at that time a fox appears. the fox,who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”, becomes his newfriend. at the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose isunique because she is his rose and tamed by him. from that the little princebegins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

good morning, ladies and gentlemen. isquo;d like to share my teaching dream with you. but before that, i want to say something about the beginning of this dream. in march this year, three teachers from australia came to our school. during the meeting, we exchanged a lot about education. i found that though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we have different routines. what impressed me most was that their schools end at 3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes. i cansquo;t tell which kind of routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a better education. the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which there is no pressure but pleasure.

in this school, the buildings are well designed, close to nature. in the morning, children can read while enjoying the beautiful sunrise. in the evening, they can exercise by the lake reflecting the amazing sunset. in the spring, they can go to the wild, lie on the lawn, and watch the kite flying in the blue sky. in the summer, they can go to the forest, live in a cabin, and listen to the rhythm of the rain. …

students are free but polite and they respect each other. they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier. they have the freedom to organize time. t

in the new environment, i feel a bit excited. be able to recognize the new students and teachers is my greatest gains. in the next three years, we will learn、work and progress together to make our dreams come true. i will have new friends, and share the joy and sadness with them. the process of learning is also a growing process.

similarly, i will also face many difficulties. i might have difficulties in learning and getting along with classmates , bearing some pressure in life. however, i will get stronger and get through every step of high school three years.

we have heard time and time again that the evidence reflects the payment to defendants money. the president had knowledge that these funds were being paid and these were funds collected for the 1972 presidential campaign. we know that the president met with mr. henry petersen 27 times to discuss matters related to watergate, and immediately thereafter met with the very persons who were implicated in the information mr. petersen was receiving. the words are: "if the president is connected in any suspicious manner with any person and there be grounds to believe that he will shelter that person, he may be impeached."

justice story: "impeachment" is attended -- "is intended for occasional and extraordinary cases where a superior power acting for the whole people is put into operation to protect their rights and rescue their liberties from violations." we know about the huston plan. we know about the break-in of the psychiatrist's office. we know that there was absolute complete direction on september 3rd when the president indicated that a surreptitious entry had been made in dr. fielding's office, after having met with mr. ehrlichman and mr. young. "protect their rights." "rescue their liberties from violation."

the carolina ratification convention impeachment criteria: those are impeachable "who behave amiss or betray their public trust."4 beginning shortly after the watergate break-in and continuing to the present time, the president has engaged in a series of public statements and actions designed to thwart the lawful investigation by government prosecutors. moreover, the president has made public announcements and assertions bearing on the watergate case, which the evidence will show he knew to be false. these assertions, false assertions, impeachable, those who misbehave. those who "behave amiss or betray the public trust."

james madison again at the constitutional convention: "a president is impeachable if he attempts to subvert the constitution." the constitution charges the president with the task of taking care that the laws be faithfully executed, and yet the president has counseled his aides to commit perjury, willfully disregard the secrecy of grand jury proceedings, conceal surreptitious entry, attempt to compromise a federal judge, while publicly displaying his cooperation with the processes of criminal justice. "a president is impeachable if he attempts to subvert the constitution."

if the impeachment provision in the constitution of the united states will not reach the offenses charged here, then perhaps that 18th-century constitution should be abandoned to a 20th-century paper shredder.

has the president committed offenses, and planned, and directed, and acquiesced in a course of conduct which the constitution will not tolerate? that's the question. we know that. we know the question. we should now forthwith proceed to answer the question. it is reason, and not passion, which must guide our deliberations, guide our debate, and guide our decision.

in the matter of courage we all have our limits. there never was a hero who did not have his bounds. i suppose it may be said of nelson and all the others whose courage has been advertised that there came times in their lives when their bravery knew it had come to its limit.

i have found mine a good many times. sometimes this was expected--often it was unexpected. i know a man who is not afraid to sleep with a rattle-snake, but you could not get him to sleep with a safety-razor.

i never had the courage to talk across a long, narrow room. i should be at the end of the room facing all the audience. if i attempt to talk across a room i find myself turning this way and that, and thus at alternate periods i have part of the audience behind me. you ought never to have any part of the audience behind you; you never can tell what they are going to do.

i like a lot of foods, like rice, noodles, dumplings, porridge, hamburgersand so on. but my favourite food is dumplings. every sunday,my mother makes manydumplings for me. if she has no time to make the dumplings, i'll go to thesupermarket to buy some. dumplings look like white boats. they my birthday every year, i usually make a lot of dumplings with mymother because i often ask some friends to eat them with me. there are differentkinds of vegetables in them. my friends all like to eat them very much.

of all the foods,i like dumplings best. what about you, mydear friends? doyou like dumplings, too?

"never say die, i've been down this road before. i'll never quit, i'll never lay down." it's the song named "win". it tells us never say die.

seeing this topic, what first strikes my mind is the group of blind football players who won the silver medal at the beijing paralympics games. what they did shows the spirit of the old saying never say die. instead of giving up because of their blindness, they have redoubled their efforts and they did wonders.

never give up, even though there are many difficult things waiting for you. if you try your best, maybe there will be many successes behind you the next time.

i once read a book called "the count of monte cristo". in the book, it says, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words, wait and hope. just try your best, wait for the success and hold on your hopes.

trying times will pass, as they always do. face the trouble heroically

and just have patience, your dreams will come true and you will surely win.
