這篇短篇小説我在七年級就讀過了。我不曾喜歡過其中的女主公瑪蒂爾德。她美麗的容貌落入貧窮的家庭，她認為上天不公，而我卻認為她擁有一個愛她的丈夫才是她最大的資本。她追求奢華，追求被萬人追捧的感覺，追求一切物質上的享受。我覺得她不懂得珍惜，只會向丈夫抱怨，忽視了丈夫的壓力與感受，所以我對她也沒有任何好感。

這篇悲劇的故事讓我從中學會了兩個道理，有時在生活中不要太虛榮了，還有，不管自己最終過得怎樣，都要對朋友真誠，
