there is no denying the fact that it is a hotly debated topic today whether college studentsshould be allowed to get married. some time ago, the ban was lifted by some universities onstudents getting married. to this people’s attitudes differ sharply. some hold the positive say that most college students are adults and that it is a basic right for those who havereached the appropriate ages to get married. besides, they argue that with their biological andemotional needs met, these students will study better. // the ban on this means a severeviolation of human rights.

many others, however, hold the negative/opposite view. they claim that the university orcollege is a place to study instead of a community to lead family life. allowing college studentsto get married would adversely affect their study. for instance, they would spend too muchtime attending their family and love, unable to concentrate on their school work.

步入中心廣場，呈現在人們眼前的是花的海洋。白的純潔，紫的高貴，紅的典雅，黃的悦目。旗台邊上千盆菊花簇擁在國旗四周，象徵着人們對五星紅旗的敬仰。成千上萬盆不同品種的菊花擺出各種精美的圖案，把廣場裝扮得極其美麗。

徜徉在這花的海洋中，你會不由得發出內心由衷的讚歎：“啊!真美。”於是，人們有點用相機拍照留念，有的用手機記錄下這珍貴的一幕，還有的人流連忘返，駐足觀看，盡情享受着這改革開放帶來的精神文化盛宴。

走出大通，我們僱了一輛三輪車去一百。哇，大街好熱鬧啊!五彩繽紛的服裝貨攤，各式各樣傳統風味的小吃貨攤等，在道路的左側排成了長龍陣，道上游人如織，人頭攢動。因實在太擁擠，車伕只好把車子騎入左側的一個小道，往另一條公路騎向一百商城。難怪市政府打算把這段解放街建成一條步行街，只准人們步行逛街!

到了一百，我感受最深的是一個字——多。在門口，自行車、摩托車、小轎車成千上萬地停放着;在商城裏，人們摩肩接踵，熙熙攘攘。從中可以體會出顧客對一百的感情是多麼深厚。與大通相比，一百商城的營銷特點是製造一種良好的購物氣氛，商城裏的商品多而全，就那麼藴含激情的放在那兒，時常會有顧客駐足問價，你不注意時，還會有營業員拿着擴音器推銷。看來，一百繁榮興旺是錯不了的!

走出一百，我有三點失望：1、一百取消了購書部;2、一百的裝飾沒有大通的精美，儘管夠舒適;3、我們無瑕去一百地下超市，沒能享受到那條坡道電梯。不過，一百留給我的印象是上虞購物之都。

generation gap between parents and children

nowadays , there are more and more misunderstanding between parents and children which is so- called generation gap . it is estimated that (75 percentages of parents often complain their children‘s unreasonable behavior while children usually think their parents too old fashioned).

spring came with ail its glories. the new grass exposed its green colour. the pretty flowers opened their blossoms. we were tempted to go for an outing.

it was sunday, the 20th of april we set out very early on bikes, carrying bottles of champagne, beer and bags of cakes, bacon and cooked eggs.

we rode along the winding paths in the fields, across the meadows and down the roads. the willow were fresh and green.

the swallows were flying to and fro, up and down the sky. the birds, like musicians, snang their melodious songs in the trees, and the butterflies, like colorful dancers, were fluttering here and there. we breathed the fresh air deeply and laughed heartily.

at 10 a.m. we arrived at the foot of the shushan hill. we left our bikes with a bike repairing shop and began to climb up the hill.

near the top, under a big tree with luxuri ant foliage we had our picnic. we drank and ate, talked and laughed. after the picnic we stood in the breeze with our hands on our waists, enjoying the fine landscape. then we lay on the grass talking about our life and studies.

at about 4 p. m. , we returned with balmy greenness on our backs and freshness in our hearts.
