海象英語讀後感篇1

"gone with the wind" is my favorite book. love scarlett's strong and brave, love the quick ruite decisive melanie's love, an hand in a velvet glove.

for scarlett, my feeling was contradictory, and it was a nuisance but i had to admire her. she is a very personality of the characters, the two men love her lifetime, but she did not know one. if she knew ashley, that she would not love him; if she understood rhett, she would not lose him. she had been longing, she just kept pursuing his dream of the prince -- ashley. she is his love of the characteristics that ashley, she just made a gorgeous clothes, so ainslie, and then fell in love with him. and the fact is, she loves that dress.

for her, i had to admire her, admire her strength, admire her persistence in the land, admire her in that environment, and put aside the education she had received before. she has several souls in her life, and one is her mother. his mother is a very capable and gentle typical lady, the most admirable person. however, the mother was infected with typhoid fever and died. the other one is 10 years her favorite people -- ashley. she can stand up in the face of adversity, a large part of the reason is ashley. she is very dedicated to ashley. and one more, melanie. for more than ten years of fighting together, melanie had become an indispensable part of her life.

"gone with the wind" is definitely worthy of repeated taste good, beautiful words, the plot ups and downs, p, although due to the subjective factors of the author, for the evaluation of the american civil war is not objective and comprehensive, but the literature point of view, this is definitely a peerless good, worth a visit.

rhett is a complex person, he has a good family, but still the old age and the misfits, he has sharp eyes, can find their own way to live in troubled times, he has a passion for the country, even if he knows will be lost, but at the last moment into the army. he love beauty, but he know more about scarlett, so he never said 8ttt8, is expressed through action, while scarlett never wants to know him. finally, he was hopeless, and again and again he had no courage to try again, and he was tired.

i've read this twice. the first time i rushed through it just to find out who was the "victim." yeah. wasn't really surprised about that. i'm sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, i wasn't really enthused at having to slog through this book.

i understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young mr. potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. there should've been some hints as far back as "chamber" but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. it is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasn't a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story (i, personally, could have lived without the whole hagrid/grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of dolores umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan).

but one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think (perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely)--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. this is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isn't a great novel. but it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. we may not like the person harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of umbridge or ron's jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in today's society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the "system."

yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. remember, the harry potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

hardcore potter fans will enjoy this. anyone expecting a great epic, however, will be disappointed because of their misconceptions.

recently, i have reading the book "jane eyre”. although i forgot some details in the book, jane gave me deeply impression, i admire her very much. after that the teacher also told us to put the play in to a movie, and then we all can touch each hero’s soul in the book. the play it mainly tell us how jane is growing up when suffering from great difficulties and painless. whats more, it is impressed me that she still love her master even if he is blind at last due to rescue his mad wife.

and i like the classic lines what jane said to mr. rochester :"do you think i can stay to become nothing to you? do you think i am an automaton?--a machine without feelings? and can bear to have my morsel of bread snatched from my lips, and my drop of living water dashed from my cup? do you think, because i am poor, obscure, plain, and little, i am soulless and heartless? you think wrong!--i have as much soul as you,--and full as much heart! and if god had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, i should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you.

i am not talking to you now through the medium of custom, conventionalities, nor even of mortal flesh;--it is my spirit that addresses your spirit; just as if both had passed through the grave, and we stood at gods feet, equal,--as we are!" its so beautiful, jane is a girl who will never lose confidence in life and always sensible when handling with some motional problems. jane was huge in my heart. she can control her life and fate. she knew how to continue her life and she got it!

maybe after what she told me i have known that what love is and how to love and to be loved! the book is a book worth of reading, so all in all let’s enjoy it!

how can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? the reason is the nature of goodness. i think it is the most important information implied in the novel by dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. although i don’t think goodness is omnipotent, yet i do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

for me, the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary character for a person. goodness is to humans what water is to fish. he who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person. on the contrary, as the famous saying goes, the fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose’, he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person. people receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done, and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

to my disappointment, nowadays some people seem to doubt the existence of the goodness in humanity. they look down on people’s honesty and kindness, thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted. as a result, they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. on the other hand, they attach importance to money and benefit. in their opinion, money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. if they cannot get profit from showing their ‘kindness’, they draw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. they are one of the sorts that i really detest.

francis bacon said in his essay, ‘goodness, of all virtues and dignities of the mind, is the greatest, being the character of the deity, and without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing, no better than a kind of vermin.’

"tomorrow is another day anyway!" scarlett was deeply infected with me. she let me know, really is not optimistic to believe that life is easy, but clearly know there are many setbacks and obstacles in life, still can look into it, and try our best to out even climbed out of the dilemma. scarlett would have complained and felt like a lot of people, but the difference was that most people would never recover, and scarlett would take heart and face it all the more.

as a college student, we more to carry forward this spirit of optimism, we have a "move over the eyes", "chapters of the pupil" through the years we have, whatever we will encounter in the process of the pursuit of a dream lost regret or the pain of failure, but we should still believe that the future will certainly to us. once when i was in dream also had doubts and struggle, but when i look back, but accidentally smile, those who look very painful experience, under the oxidation of the time, will become our story, they be years alms little surprise to us? we all like the sunshine breeze and the calm water, but may as well occasionally take the irons in the rain, and believe that the clouds and flowers and flowers in your heart will have a new build.

"i believe that laughter is the best way to burn calories. i believe in adversity, be strong. i believe that happy girls are the most beautiful girls. i believe tomorrow will be a new beginning, and miracles will happen." you may not have the freedom to be yourself, but you must have the courage to be yourself. i hope we are all storytellers and have a wonderful tomorrow.
